Joshua Justis, also Telefon Tel Aviv, is a unique musician who has made a huge contribution to modern IDM. During his career, he managed to take part in various roles in such musical projects as Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer, Black Light Burns, Second Woman; work on remixes of tracks A Perfect Circle, Marylin Manson, Eminem, etc. Including he is one of the current members of the synthpop group The Black Queen.
The experimental electronic duo Telefon Tel Aviv was created in 1999 by school friends Joshua Justis and Charles Cooper. After recording the demo with four tracks, Josh and Charlie got on Hefty Records - the label where in September 2001 the release of their first album "Fahrenheit Fair Enough" took place. After the tragic death of Charles Cooper in 2009, Joshua in every possible way denied the opportunity to speak. However, in 2016 decided to resume the creative process of Telefon Tel Aviv. For the first time after a long break, Joshua and his main musical project appeared on the scene in the fall of 2016 in a joint tour with the band Moderat. In the spring of 2018, Russia will become one of the first countries, and Samara is one of the first cities to be able to hear and see the new program of one of the pillars of IDM live!
